Aramark at Marian University is seeking a part-time barista to join a fast-paced team in Indianapolis, IN. You will craft specialty drinks, assist with food items, and handle orders and payments while providing memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code as assigned.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash/credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers; anticipate their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer; complete cashier slips and deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark cash handling policies.
• Set up/break down coffee bar and stations; clean/sanitize.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers and service ware; restock condiments.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation guidelines; perform other duties.
