Job summary

Harrison Group is seeking full-time, year-round team members to prepare and serve beverages and foods, describe products, handle payments, and maintain cleanliness across service areas in Ocean City, MD.

Requirements include training in food preparation and customer service procedures, plus 1 year of related experience preferred. Candidates must stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously and recall frequent patrons’ faces, names, and preferences.
• Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages to patrons, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea; correctly customizes orders as requested.
• Describes product details to customers.
• Receives and processes customer payments.
• Serves prepared foods and baked goods, including sandwiches.
• Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
• Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.
• Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.
• Stock supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
