Bar Attendant – BB2

Located within walking distance of Nationwide Arena and the trendy Arena District, Hyatt Regency Columbus redefines the modern hotel experience. What does the ROLE entail?

• Responsible for delivering finished food products and accompanying to-go service items as necessary, to guests in Big Bar on 2
• Ensuring that the Big Bar on 2 is fully stocked with food items, paper supplies, and preparations for mixed beverages
• This role requires stocking glassware, ensuring cleanliness and dishwashing
• This role assists bartenders and servers with the guest experience by refilling waters, clearing dishes, and resetting tables
• Completing assigned side-work to set team up for success, including restocking, organizing, and cleaning
• Strong guest service orientation and team player mentality in a fast paced environment

Your EXPERIENCE:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time with continuous walking
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Detailed individual with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to commonly carry 10lbs, and occasionally 140lbs (kegs) of weight
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• A fun and energized person
• Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and friendly image that will reflect well on the hotel’s overall operation
