Sonic Automotive's Clearwater operation is seeking a Parts Counterperson to assist customers at the parts counter, process orders, and maintain inventory for service technicians. You will collaborate with vendors, verify invoices, and ensure accurate parts delivery while staying informed about new automotive products.

The role involves handling cash, providing receipts, and coordinating with service and sales teams to ensure smooth parts orders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive dealership parts department.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent assistance.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Responsabilités

• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers at the parts counter, addressing inquiries, and offering expert advice on parts selection.
• Handle phone inquiries and provide information on parts availability, pricing, and compatibility.
• Efficiently and accurately process parts orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers and service technicians.
• Collaborate with vendors and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
• Monitor and maintain adequate levels of inventory to meet customer demand.
• Conduct regular stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory records in the dealership's system.
• Utilize technical knowledge to assist customers and service technicians in identifying the correct parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Stay informed about new products and advancements in automotive parts to provide up-to-date information.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately, providing customers with receipts for transactions.
• Collaborate with the service and sales departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of parts orders.
