Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join the team in Norfolk, VA. The position pays $16/hour on a 40-hour week, with shift coverage including Mon-Fri and weekend offs as listed, and is based at 6252 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502.

You will wash, sanitize and prep vehicles for customer rentals, inspect for safety and cleanliness, and maintain branch site appearance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years. (Points on driving record cannot exceed a total of 8 points).
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (i.e., DUI, DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place them in Lost & Found; verify registration is present and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damage; remove from prep as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed. May transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including interior and exterior cleaning of branch locations.
• Site appearance duties: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and related tasks.
