Position Overview

The individual in this position supports the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales goals, ensuring profitable store operations, and delivering superior customer service. Responsibilities include managing resources such as staff, merchandise, cash, and facilities. The Assistant Store Manager also assumes supervisory duties in the Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities
Sales
  • Assist in meeting or exceeding sales targets and contribute to overall company success.
  • Lead by example, embody Lindt standards and core competencies.
  • Communicate the store's sales mission effectively to staff.
  • Motivate staff and hold them accountable for KPIs and sales opportunities.
  • Identify external sales opportunities through networking and marketing.
  • Manage inventory levels to align with sales trends and quality standards.
Staff Development
  • Support hiring, training, and developing store personnel according to Lindt standards.
  • Assist in recruiting qualified candidates.
  • Train staff in sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Escalate issues promptly to management.
Operational Controls
  • Ensure compliance with inventory, cash management, audit, payroll, and expense policies.
  • Maintain adherence to quality assurance policies.
