When you join our team as an Assistant Store Manager, you will take on key store management responsibilities including supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities to develop the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $24.50/hour
• Wage Increase: Year 2 - $25.50/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve results
• Set and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations
• Identify training opportunities for team development
• Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments
• Provide product feedback and participate in hiring
• Manage store operations in the absence of the direct leader
• Ensure compliance with inventory, product handling, and cash policies
• Maintain store cleanliness and signage standards
• Assist with stock levels, merchandising, and product quality
• Support payroll, inventory, and training efforts
• Supervise daily team activities and escalate issues when necessary
• Ensure customer service excellence
• Uphold security and confidentiality policies

Physical Demands

• Stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general store activities

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 3 years in retail, management experience preferred
