Position Details
- Type: Full-Time
- Hours: 38 hours/week
- Starting Wage: $24.50/hour
- Wage Increase: Year 2 - $25.50/hour
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily store activities and overall performance
- Manage schedules and develop operational plans
- Identify training opportunities for team development
- Develop and communicate team responsibilities and performance expectations
- Participate in hiring and training new employees
- Ensure compliance with inventory, safety, and cash handling policies
- Maintain store cleanliness, signage, and product quality
- Support achievement of payroll, budget, and loss prevention goals
- Handle customer concerns in the absence of the store leader
- Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds
- Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, and walking regularly
- Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in retail management preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years retail experience, management preferred
- Ability to operate store equipment and handle cash accurately
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol (if applicable)
