As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist with supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall performance, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities for team growth.

Position Type: Full-Time

Average Hours: 38 hours/week

Starting Wage: $24.50/hour

Wage Increase: Year 2 - $25.50/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Understand and promote company values and strategy.
• Monitor community environment and advise on necessary adjustments.
• Provide product feedback and participate in hiring processes.
• Ensure compliance with inventory, product handling, and cash policies.
• Resolve operational customer concerns in the absence of direct leadership.
• Maintain safety standards, store cleanliness, and proper signage.
• Assist with stock levels, merchandising, and product quality.
• Support payroll, inventory, and training initiatives.
• Supervise daily team operations and escalate issues appropriately.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general store activities.
