When you join our team as an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll take on key store management responsibilities including supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities to develop the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $25.00/hr, with a raise to $26.00/hr in Year 2

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations
• Identify training opportunities for team development
• Model company values and foster teamwork
• Monitor community environment and advise on adjustments
• Provide product feedback and participate in hiring
• Ensure adherence to inventory and cash policies
• Resolve customer concerns in absence of manager
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper signage in the store
• Assist with stock levels and merchandising
• Support payroll, inventory, and training goals
• Supervise daily team operations and escalate issues as needed
• Ensure customer service excellence

Physical Demands

• Stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and store maintenance activities

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience with management principles, budgeting, and operations
• Ability to operate store equipment safely
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 3+ years retail experience; management experience preferred
