Job summary

Benedictine Health System in Duluth, MN seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead a dedicated nursing team, oversee resident care, and implement initiatives that enhance quality and satisfaction across the facility.

You will mentor staff, coordinate assessments and plans of care, and partner with leadership to promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Experience in nursing leadership and staff development preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• The ADON manages training, development and performance of staff to retain a motivated, professional workforce.
• The ADON performs assessments; develops and implements appropriate plan of care based on the residents’ needs.
• The ADON fosters a culture of continuous quality improvement including customer satisfaction, safety and risk management, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, which must be in good standing
• Manager experience and skills preferred
• Excellent Communication and organizational skills
