Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Asheboro, NC. You will perform armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide excellent customer service while protecting clients across multiple industries.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of armed security or related experience. Training and compliance with laws are part of the job.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered in a compliant manner.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of technology-focused facilities and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with policies and licensing requirements.
