As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Asheboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of technology-focused facilities, including buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry and reporting irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, site requirements, applicable laws, and licensing requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
