Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/Certificate Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1-3 years Acute Care RN experience, preferably in Critical Care or PACU.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs in order to provide quality care to assigned patients.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care with the patient/family.
• Implements medical plan of care and nursing interventions as necessary for the patient.
• Evaluates care and reassesses patient and family needs to ensure quality care.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for health care team.
• Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure.
• Maintains supplies/inventory for the department.
• Assist in other duties to support department and organization.
• May be required to remain on campus before, during, and after severe weather.
