Embassy at Hearthside is hiring an Activity Aide for a full-time role. You will plan, lead, and support engaging recreational activities for residents, fostering participation and a warm, resident-centered atmosphere.

The position runs 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, five days a week with every other weekend, offering a meaningful daily impact in a senior living community. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to work well both independently and on a team within a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in healthcare/long-term care or activities role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable engaging with elderly residents in group and one-on-one settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement in programs and events.
• Support group activities, games, crafts, music, and special events.
• Assist with decorating and preparing for holidays and facility events.
• Escort and support residents during activities as needed.
• Maintain activity supplies and ensure areas are organized.
• Document resident participation when required.
• Promote a positive, resident-centered environment.
