River Parishes Community College invites applications for a Full-Time Accounting & Business Instructor. Appointed by the Chancellor, this 9-month faculty position will teach at one or more RPCC campuses, with duties including instruction, advising, and student recruitment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting OR master’s degree (in any discipline) and 18 graduate semester hours in accounting OR Certified Public Accountant with a master’s degree (in any discipline).
• Official transcripts must be submitted.
• Preference for credentialing to teach BUSN and/or CPTR courses with related degrees/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach accounting and business courses at RPCC campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine, St. Charles).
• Attend classes, office hours, and maintain a professional learning environment.
• Contribute to student advising, recruitment, and service to department and college.
