Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Credentialing in Sparrows Point, MD. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain security presence at an industrial site, ensuring safe and compliant operations.

The role requires 6 months of security experience, strong computer familiarity, and ability to work a structured shift schedule. Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed), with background checks and drug screening as standard prerequisites.

Qualificações

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• On-site site has limited facilities like portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access materials as authorized, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident documentation related to visitor activity, deliveries, access-control equipment, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report hazards, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
