Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Diagnostic Radiology Technician to perform imaging studies with minimal supervision. This is a full-time, second-shift position (3/12s) with 1030-2300 hours and weekend, call, and holiday rotation.

You will produce high-quality images for radiologist review, verify orders, follow safety protocols, and maintain records while performing QC on equipment. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active KBMIRT at time of hire.
• ARRT certification within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside.
• Produce high-quality images for radiologist review and maintain accurate records.
• Complete quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation.

Under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside. This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, adhering to departmental protocols, monitoring patient safety throughout exams, and applying radiation protection measures. The candidate will assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively.
