Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Radiology Technologist for full-time second shift (3/12s, 10:30 AM–11:00 PM) to perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or bedside, producing high-quality images for radiologist review and completing QC.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, following protocols, ensuring safety, assisting radiologists, managing supplies, and documenting studies in EPIC/IMPAX.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Active KBMIRT at time of hire.
• ARRT certification within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic exams in the department, OR, or bedside.
• Produce high-quality images for radiologist review.
• Complete quality control (QC) on equipment.
• Verify patient identity and orders; adhere to protocols.
• Monitor patient safety during exams and apply radiation protection measures.
• Assist radiologists when needed; manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting.

This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, adhering to departmental protocols, monitoring patient safety throughout exams, and applying radiation protection measures. The candidate will assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively.
