Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside, producing high-quality images for radiologist review and maintaining accurate records while completing QC on equipment. EPIC/IMPAX proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and complete QC to ensure optimal operation.

36 Hours Weekly, Full Time Second Shift (3/12s; 1030-2300; Weekend, Call, and Holiday Rotation)

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Radiology Tech.

Under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader and with minimal supervision, the successful candidate will perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside. This role requires producing high-quality images for radiologist review, maintaining accurate records, and completing quality control (QC) on equipment to ensure optimal operation. Responsibilities include verifying patient identity and orders, adhering to departmental protocols, monitoring patient safety throughout exams, and applying radiation protection measures. The candidate will assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively.
