Motor Technology, Inc. seeks a 2nd Shift Electrical Motor Technician Supervisor to lead a team repairing and testing electromechanical equipment. You will supervise technicians, ensure safety and quality, and provide on-the-job training as needed.
The role requires 10+ years of repair experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Candidates must provide their own tools and be willing to cover weekend on-call rotations every five weeks.
Pay: $34.00 - $42.00/hour, plus a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift and supervisor pay
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with overtime available and an on-call weekend rotation every 5 weeks

As our 2nd Shift Electrical Motor Technician Supervisor, you'll make sure that all electromechanical equipment repairs and services completed by you and your team meet company quality expectations and standards. You'll supervise the motor technicians as they repair equipment, monitoring their performance and ensuring they follow all safety protocols. You'll offer valuable feedback during annual employee reviews and provide on-the-job training as needed. If a team member needs help, you'll jump in to assist with what you can.
In addition, you'll evaluate work orders, diagnose, and repair AC and DC electromechanical equipment. Responsibilities include disassembling and inspecting equipment, replacing worn parts, reassembling units, and conducting final performance tests. You'll also document jobs, operate specialized repair equipment, and handle heavy components safely.
