Job summary

Motor Technology, Inc. is hiring a Full-time 2nd Shift Electric Motor Technician I. You will diagnose and repair AC/DC electromechanical equipment, disassemble and inspect units, replace worn parts, and perform final tests.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating repair equipment, and documenting work while maintaining safety standards. The position offers a 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime and a weekend-on-call rotation every five weeks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with industrial rotating equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical information.
• Good computer skills and safety training understanding.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate work orders, diagnose and repair AC and DC electromechanical equipment.
• Disassemble and inspect equipment; replace worn parts and reassemble units.
• Conduct final performance tests and document results.
• Operate specialized repair equipment and ensure safety compliance.

Pay: $25-$38 per hour, plus a 15% shift differential for 2nd shift

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with weekend duty every five weeks, along with overtime.
