Zusammenfassung

Geisinger is seeking staff for Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) to provide constant observation and supportive care for patients requiring 1:1 supervision. You will accompany patients to tests and maintain a safe, calm environment across day/evening shifts.

Responsibilities include meal assistance, incident prevention, and clear reporting to registered nurses. High school diploma required; exposure to clinical settings preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient assistance and safety-focused care is preferred.
• Ability to maintain watchful observation and document care.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a safe, private, and comfortable therapeutic environment.
• Remain in clear sight of patient at all times and assist with meals.
• Accompany patient to tests, procedures or appointments and report to RN.
• Activate bed or chair alarms and redirect impulsive or harmful behavior.
• Participate in shift reports and communicate pertinent information to nursing staff.
