Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for Web Applications to design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using .NET/C# and React with TypeScript.

You will develop microservices, REST APIs, and real-time features, while collaborating across architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments. You will work with MSSQL databases, participate in code reviews, and mentor peers, contributing to SEL values and engineering development programs.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 2+ years of full stack web development experience.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and building microservices.
• Strong frontend skills with React, TypeScript, and modern tooling.
• Experience with REST APIs, SignalR, and asynchronous data flows.
• Familiarity with relational databases and schema management.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack (C#/.NET and React/TypeScript).
• Develop microservices and REST APIs and integrate with frontend components.
• Work with MSSQL databases and manage schemas via database projects.
• Implement real-time features and inter-service communication.
