Job summary

SCI Technology, a Sanmina Company, in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Software Engineer/Web Developer to design, build, and maintain web-based tools that integrate with SQL Server databases for our manufacturing and test engineering teams.

Collaborate with SQL Server architects, advance full-stack development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and ASP.NET, and produce scalable, secure software for production workflows. U.S. Citizenship is required for this ITAR facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of web development or software engineering experience.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web frameworks.
• Familiarity with C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio and API integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with SQL Server architects to develop intuitive web front-ends for robust database solutions.
• Designing and building custom, internal web-based tools to support manufacturing and production workflows.
• Writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code for web applications.
• Ensuring seamless and secure integration between web interfaces and backend SQL Server databases.
• Overseeing application performance, debugging, and troubleshooting user-reported issues.
• Maintaining internal documentation for tools, user guides, and architecture.
