Job summary

CLARK COUNTY CREDIT UNION is seeking a software engineer to design, test, and maintain web applications and APIs. You will review peer code, implement tech best practices, and ensure security across in-house systems. Documentation and cross-training are part of the role.

The candidate should have 2–4 years in front-end and back-end web tech (HTML/CSS/JS frameworks) and ASP.NET/C#/MVC with MSSQL. Python and Linux/Ubuntu are a bonus; strong analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, NodeJS, Vue.js.
• 2 to 4 years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC.
• 1 to 2 years of experience with MSSQL.
• Ability to leverage AI assistance across the full software development lifecycle including planning, architecture, building, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance within VS Code or Visual Studio.
• Experience with Python and Linux/Ubuntu a plus.
• Experience with relational database design, development, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated logical thinking and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement, and maintain web applications and APIs including troubleshooting problems and enhancement possibilities
• Create and maintain documentation relating to web applications, APIs, and procedures
• Review peer code
• Design and implement technology best practices and guidelines
• Provide security and integrity to all in-house applications and APIs
• Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members
