Job summary

Bolder Apps is hiring a Full-Stack Web Developer to build production web products for US-based clients. You will own features end to end—from database and API to the React interface—using React and Next.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend.

You will ship full-stack features, design backend services, build fast frontends, and work closely with PMs and clients. AI tools help accelerate work, but you own every line before it reaches production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web apps with both backend and frontend written by you.
• Strong hands-on React experience.
• Next.js in production is a strong plus.
• Backend: Node.js or Python with a path to Node.js.
• Designed APIs, worked with relational databases, and handled auth/integrations.
• Fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript.

• Live client coordination in US hours.
• Honest estimates and clear blockers to deliver finished work.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features for client web products, from data model and API through to the React/Next.js interface.

We're hiring a Full-Stack Web Developer to build and ship web products for US-based clients at Bolder Apps. You'll own features end to end, from the database and API to the React interface users actually touch. Our stack is React and Next.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend. We use AI coding tools every day, and we still need people who have built real backends and real frontends with their own hands, and who can tell when generated code is almost right but wrong. • Proven full-stack experience. 3+ years building production web applications where you personally wrote both the backend and the frontend. Your portfolio or work history shows shipped products, not only tutorials or demos React.
• Strong hands-on React experience.
• Next.js in production is a strong plus
• Backend. Production experience with Node.js, or another popular backend language such as Python, with a clear path to Node.js.
• You have designed APIs, worked with relational databases, and handled auth and third-party integrations
• TypeScript and modern JavaScript fluency
• Engineering fundamentals. Git, code review, testing, and careful production deploys
• AI-augmented workflow. You use Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar daily, and you can catch and fix what they get wrong English at C1 or above.
• Client calls and written updates go out in your voice US hours overlap.
• Available through roughly 5 PM EST for live client coordination
• Ownership habits. Honest estimates, early blockers, finished work
