Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years building web apps or backend services in production or near-production environments.
• Experience implementing features in TypeScript across Node.js and frontend frameworks and writing tests.
• Experience with Node.js and FastAPI backends and relational databases with migrations.
• Strong collaboration with Product and Design to translate requirements into software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful API functionality (TypeScript) under existing schemas and patterns.
• Implement UI features in Svelte/React with TypeScript following design system.
• Develop Node.js/FastAPI endpoints using PostgreSQL/SQLAlchemy; follow code conventions.
• Write migrations and ensure backwards compatibility; contribute tests for features.
• Collaborate with shared services (Auth/RBAC, Audit, Notifications, File Service).
• Contribute to containerized delivery (Docker) and participate in releases.
