Job summary

Commerce Bank offers a Summer Internship Program that gives students real-world experience across business areas, with meaningful IT projects and mentorship from leaders. Interns participate in lunch-and-learns, community service activities, and networking opportunities.

The program runs 11 weeks starting May 18th, 2027, with paid full-time hours and a Monday–Friday schedule. Location is in Kansas City, MO, and applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Junior or Senior standing.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an agile development team to analyze, design, create, code, and maintain a full-stack software application.
• Collaborate and network with over 20 IT teams that support the bank.
• Partner with peers and mentor to complete projects and duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
