Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth offers a Software Engineering internship for undergraduates. You will gain hands-on experience across full-stack development in an Agile setting, with training and access to modern tools, contributing to real projects within the Space domain.

Open to Computer Science / Software Engineering students; a solid OO foundation including C# or Java, plus an interest in programming and technology, is expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for whole duration of placement; inform graduation date.
• Solid foundation in OO programming and basic software concepts.
• Interest in programming, technology and agile development.

Responsibilities

• Work on full-stack software development in an Agile environment.
• Learn and apply design patterns, architecture concepts and coding standards.
• Collaborate in a multi-developer team and contribute to websites, apps and databases.
