Job description

To be eligible for this position, you must be a U.S. Citizen. This position requires an active U.S. Government security clearance; applicants who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be eligible for consideration. Minimum Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experiences with any of the following: Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka or similar, Git, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Bash, Linux.
• Experience developing containerized micro‑services.
• Experience developing front‑end web applications.
• Experience developing back‑end services that use APIs or a message bus to communicate.
• Experience with software engineering tools (e.g., Git/Subversion, IDE).
• Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines (CI‑CD Pipelines).
• Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.

Desired Additional Qualifications

• Experience with formal software development methodologies (Agile).
• Experience writing software implementing algorithms.
• Experience implementing Design Patterns.
• Familiarity with Aerospace Engineering and space operations.

Pay Transparency

Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

Base pay ranges by location:

• Colorado: $82,000.00 - $109,000.00 - $119,900.00 annually.
• Washington, DC metropolitan area: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.
• Other states: geographic cost of labor is used to develop market‑driven ranges.
