Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Software Developer for our DHRES portfolio in North Charleston. You will contribute to full stack development, write secure code, and refactor legacy systems while collaborating with engineers and SMEs.

The role requires a BS in a technical field, 5+ years of software development, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Onsite presence 2–3 days weekly is expected, with strong emphasis on SDLC, DevOps, and customer-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems or Computer Science.
• 5+ years’ experience as a software developer.
• 5+ years of full stack development including some architecture.
• Experience with front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.js.
• Back-end: Java, SQL, Node.js, Express, Python or Ruby on Rails.
• RESTful API design and development; version control with Git.

Responsibilities

• Write robust, secure, readable, tested code following conventions.
• Refactor legacy code while preserving functionality.
• Stay updated on best practices in relevant frameworks and languages.
• Define specifications with engineers and prepare program documentation.
• Develop, test, and debug programs; maintain related customer information.
• Participate in planning, full stack development, testing and demonstrations.
