Job summary

Yaxle is seeking a software engineer to join our fast-moving startup building AI-driven auto parts procurement tools for repair facilities across North America. You’ll work closely with the founders and customers to ship robust features, from frontend to backend, with a bias toward action.

You’ll own major parts of the product, contribute to infra decisions, and help us scale quickly in a growing market. Early-stage equity is available and we value initiative and customer focus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development in a professional environment (bonus for startup experience).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, MongoDB, AWS is encouraged but not required.

The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated software engineer to join us. Full-stack experience is ideal, but extensive frontend experience is not required. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the founders and customers and build FAST.

Role Description

• Full Stack: We’re looking for a full-stack engineer with experience building robust applications from scratch and an interest in applying AI in the real world.

• Product + Infra Ownership: You’ll do everything required to build a product—from inception and infrastructure to writing and shipping the code.

• Impact: You’ll be a critical part of building Yaxle. You’ll be expected not only to take on work where you have no prior experience, but to do it better than 20+ year-old software incumbents.

About You

• Background: You have 2+ years of experience building software in a professional environment—bonus points if you’ve spent time at another early-stage startup!

• Tools and technologies: Experience with our tech stack (Node.js, TypeScript, React, MongoDB, AWS, etc.) is encouraged but not required.
