Job description

JOB TITLE: Full Stack Software Engineer – React/Node.js

JOB LOCATION: Quincy, or Boston MA (hybrid) - Need locals only

Pay Rate: $50/hr. on W2 or $60/hr. on 1099

MOI: Virtual + Onsite

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree
• 2. 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• 4. Strong skills in Typescript, JSX, Sass/SCSS, Styled components
• 5. 5+ years of experience building REST APIs using NodeJS/Java stack
• 6. Practical knowledge of web tooling such as webpack, storybook, NPM, babel, gulp and yarn
• 7. Strong familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns e.g. Redux, React Hooks, NodeJS
• 8. Keen eye for visual web design and passion for using modern techniques to create visually rich and interactive experience
• 9. Passionate about building excellent software with customer focus and empathy
• 10. Team player with a thirst to learn, sense of urgency, and ownership and thrive in fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• 1. Experience working with NoSQL Database
• 2. Experience with ElectronJS, Finsemble or OpenFin containers
• 3. Knowledge of container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• 4. Some experience in reactive libraries like RxJS (edited)
