Job summary

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is seeking a full stack developer to modernize and enhance enterprise platforms for RBC employees and customers. You will design, build, and deploy scalable, secure solutions across .NET Core, Angular, and cloud-native services, collaborating with stakeholders and delivery teams.

You will lead technical work, contribute to Jira stories, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews. This role emphasizes Agile practice, CI/CD, and architectural excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in application development using .NET Core, Angular, JavaScript and SQL.
• Strong experience designing and integrating APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated unit testing.
• Cloud platform experience, including OpenShift / containerized platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance benchmarks.
• Perform technical analysis and solution design; contribute to Jira story creation, estimation, and delivery.
• Collaborate with peers to develop code aligned with strategic initiatives; document components to meet user requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories and technical designs.
• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications including .NET Core, Angular Web apps, cloud-native microservices, and SQL Server databases.
• Deliver solutions using Agile methodologies through CI/CD pipelines and other deployment solutions.
• Lead end-to-end software development activities: architecture and design, coding and reviews, testing, deployment and release management.
• Conduct thorough unit/integration testing and improve performance through tuning.
