Job summary

Humana in Tampa, FL seeks a Software Engineer to design, build and deploy full‑stack applications across web, backend, cloud and AI-enabled use cases. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into architectures, implement scalable solutions, and support deployment pipelines in a hybrid on-site model.

The role requires 3+ years in full-stack, front-end and back-end with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent/relevant experience.
• 3+ years in full-stack engineering across front-end, back-end, cloud and DevOps.
• 3+ years with modern front-end (React/Angular/Vue/Next.js).
• 3+ years back-end with Node.js/.NET/Java including REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
• Strong DevOps, CI/CD, YAML and secure software practices.
• Experience applying AI-enabled capabilities to software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, workflows and success criteria.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and translate requirements into architecture and plans.
• Design, develop, test, deploy and support scalable full-stack applications across web, backend, cloud, data, automation and AI use cases.
• Build front-end apps with Vue.js/React/Angular/Next.js and back-end services and APIs.
• Develop cloud-native solutions on Azure/AWS/GCP, including serverless, databases, monitoring and logging.
• Integrate AI capabilities using enterprise AI platforms, APIs and SDKs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, release and deployment automation.
