Job summary

RTX is seeking a Web/Full Stack Software Engineer I to join the Sensors, Space and Air Software team at the Fullerton campus. You will contribute to data-driven, real-time systems with front-end and back-end work, DevSecOps automation, and cross-domain integration in an Agile setting.

You will collaborate across teams, tackle complex problems, and grow technical skills in Java, Python, and modern UI frameworks while contributing to mission-critical defense software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM; degree completed by start date.
• Web full stack proficiency and security-conscious software development.
• Experience with OO design and development.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript; Java UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with web tech stacks (Angular/React/Vue, REST/GraphQL).
• Knowledge of Linux environments and cloud/container basics.

Responsibilities

• Work through all phases of the SW development lifecycle.
• Design, code, test, integrate and document software components.
• Collaborate in an Agile team to deliver real-time, data-driven apps.
• Support DevSecOps automation and cross-domain systems.
• Participate in peer reviews and technical decisions.
