Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries seeks a Software Engineer I to support the DOE Savannah River Operations Office at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC. You will contribute to design, development, and maintenance of software applications with a focus on full-stack development, QA, and end-user support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, adhere to SDLC, and help modernize legacy systems while ensuring secure, accessible, and scalable solutions using Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires strong object-oriented programming skills and experience with full-stack design.
• Proficiency in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development.
• Experience with database design and SQL development.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and SDLC.
• Knowledge of Microsoft development tools and Azure/SharePoint platforms.
• Interest in AI technologies and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure software applications using SDLC and MVC patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications and provide user support.
• Apply AI tools to improve code quality, testing, and security.
• Migrate and modernize legacy apps to current platforms and cloud services.
• Develop within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem including SharePoint and Power Platform.
