Job summary

DNI (Delaware Nation Industries) in South Carolina is seeking a Software Engineer I to contribute to design, development, and maintenance of software applications across full‑stack technologies. The role emphasizes quality assurance, accessibility (WCAG), and end‑user support within DOE‑SRS projects.

You will work independently and with teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions using MVC patterns, Git version control, and Microsoft development tools, while exploring AI powered tooling for code

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented programming language (e.g., C#, Java).
• Familiarity with front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with database design and development (SQL preferred).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proficient with Microsoft development tools and platforms (e.g., Visual Studio, .NET).
• Familiarity with SharePoint development or administration of content management systems.
• Interest in AI technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and deploys secure software applications using the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), following MVC and modern patterns.
• Use GIT for source control management.
• Assist in integrating AI‑driven solutions for automated testing and vulnerability identification.
• Perform full‑stack development from UI to back‑end and DB integration.
• Contribute to user‑friendly interfaces with web technologies.
• Support existing applications and troubleshoot defects.
• Support cyber vulnerability management and security compliance.
• Ensure accessibility standards WCAG are integrated throughout development.
• Migrate legacy apps to current platforms and modernize solutions.
