Job summary

AIG is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for GenAI to design, build and operationalize data pipelines that enable AI models and analytics across the enterprise.

You will work with data engineers, architects and scientists to drive scalable solutions, leveraging Foundry where applicable and delivering reliable APIs for consumption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one high‑level programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java, JavaScript/React).
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• Familiarity with containerization and compute optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and E2E engineering pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data solutions meeting business needs.
• Build and maintain GenAI data pipelines across the business.
• Partner with data architects and senior engineers to ensure scalable, reliable designs.
• Work with analytics, application development, and data science teams to drive innovation.

How you will create impact

As a Full‑Stack Software Engineer for GenAI, you will be a part of the design, development, and operationalization of GenAI data pipelines that enable innovative AI models and analytics. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver data solutions that drive business insights and value, all while ensuring scalability and sustainability. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and deliver innovative data solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Building and maintaining GenAI data pipelines across the business Partnering with data architects and senior engineers to implement best practices, ensuring sustainable and scalable technical designs.
• Working closely with analytics, application development, and data science teams to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
• Delivering on‑time, high‑quality results on fast‑paced schedules while maintaining rigorous standards for development and code management.

What is needed to be successful:

• Be curious and motivated to learn new things Design, develop and implement data processing pipelines in Palantir Foundry.
• Prior experience in Foundry is a big plus but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one high‑level programming language (Python, Typescript, Java, JavaScipt/React), a strong background in Typescript is a plus but not required.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
• Experience with testing frameworks (pytest, unittest).
• An understanding of containerization and compute optimization Build and maintain scalable and reliable APIs to expose data and functionalities to other services and applications.
• Identify and implement performance optimization for existing code and data processing workflows, including leveraging containerization technologies for parallel execution.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of our data platform and applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines Experience setting up E2E Engineering pipeline, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
