Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Software Engineer to join a collaborative team in a higher education setting. The role involves building and enhancing applications that support institutional systems within a modern, agile, and mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack apps, building APIs, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions. A strong emphasis on DevOps, automation, and code quality is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with full-stack development (Python, Java, JavaScript, C#).
• Strong SQL/database experience of at least five years (Oracle or similar).
• Experience and proficiency with Oracle APEX.
• Experience with APIs, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working in an education environment.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
