Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking a Software Engineer - Full Stack to build customer-facing features and the supporting backend services. You’ll work across TypeScript/React interfaces, API layers, data models, and cloud infrastructure to deliver reliable features end to end.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into maintainable software. The team emphasizes pragmatic architecture, automated testing, observability, and performance-minded decisions

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience with frontend and backend ownership.
• Strong TS/JavaScript skills with React and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience designing APIs and working with relational or document databases.
• Experience deploying to cloud, containerization, CI/CD and dev-ops tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience.
• Bonus: GraphQL, Kubernetes, IaC, mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Build and maintain backend services, data models, and integrations using Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Develop responsive, accessible user interfaces backed by reliable state management and API error handling.
• Deploy and operate production services on AWS or an equivalent cloud platform using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with tools such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
• Improve application performance, reliability, and security through profiling, observability, code reviews, and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to break ambiguous requirements into shippable milestones and measurable outcomes.
