Evlo AI in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced frontend engineer to own end-to-end development of high-performance, responsive user interfaces for millions of daily users. You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver accessible web products using modern JavaScript frameworks.

You will translate designs into pixel-perfect UI, optimize performance, implement testing strategies with Jest and Cypress, and contribute to frontend architecture and design

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and state management.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; familiarity with accessibility and performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable frontend apps with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Optimize performance focusing on Core Web Vitals and bundle size.
• Translate designs into pixel-perfect, accessible UI components.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL endpoints with robust state management.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Jest and Cypress.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
