Job summary

Eventual is a seed-stage fintech startup building AI-driven home insurance prediction models with a 3-year price guarantee, based in NYC and LA. We seek a software engineer to ship across the full stack, collaborating with design, data science, and product to deliver live features from backend to customer-facing interfaces.

You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to architecture, and help the team scale. This is a high-ownership role in a fast-moving startup, with meaningful equity on offer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production software experience.
• Full-stack capabilities with Python or TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases and APIs.
• Ability to take ownership and work autonomously.
• Bonus: startup / 0→1 product experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Develop frontend components with Next.js and Tailwind.
• Translate designs into responsive interfaces.
• Integrate with Stripe, Auth0, Canopy Connect.
• Own features end-to-end: design, test, deploy.
• Help shape engineering practices as the team scales.
