Job summary

Bot Jobs is seeking a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the core engineering team in Redwood City, CA. You will work across the full stack to build systems and interfaces that power millions of AI-driven conversations, collaborating directly with the founding team to shape architecture and user experience.

The role emphasizes ownership across frontend UIs, backend APIs, and DevOps workflows, with strong emphasis on distributed systems and real-time voice tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with strong CS fundamentals.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for backend development, with hands-on AWS experience.
• Deep knowledge of distributed backend systems.
• Experience building products or infrastructure at a fast-moving, venture-backed startup.
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with Voice AI, telephony platforms, or related real-time audio infrastructure is a strong plus.
• Background at senior or staff level, or equivalent demonstrated impact, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and iterate on core product features including prompt orchestration, dashboards, analytics, and telephony integrations.
• Design and ship scalable full-stack systems, from polished frontend UIs to robust backend APIs and DevOps workflows.
• Lead projects end-to-end: architecture, coding, deployment, and ongoing iteration.
• Create intuitive interfaces and APIs that enable customers to get up and running in hours.
• Support customer onboarding, debug production issues, and translate user feedback into product improvements.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $215,000 to $290,000 USD annually, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in Redwood City, California. Remote candidates based in the United States will also be considered.
