Job summary

Nexshift is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and scale a voice automation platform powering AI-driven conversations across customer support, sales, and recruitment. You will own features from architecture to deployment, collaborating with the founding team to craft scalable backend systems and intuitive frontend experiences.

You will design responsive frontend dashboards, build APIs and distributed backend services, and integrate telephony workflows for voice AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with balanced frontend and backend work.

• Ability to work independently, take end-to-end ownership, and deliver in a high-growth environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• At least 1.5 years of experience working at venture capital-backed startups.
• Experience in multiple startups, preferably Y Combinator-backed companies.
• Previous experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early engineering team member is highly desirable.
• Candidates with an extended Big Tech background and a track record of rapid career progression may also be considered.
• Experience in Voice AI, conversational AI, telephony integrations, or AI-powered automation is an advantage.
• Senior- or Staff-level engineering experience is a plus.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.
