Job summary

2nd Swing is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to grow our golf retail web presence across channels. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Eden Prairie, MN with no remote option.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to enhance our websites, ERP system (NetSuite), and integration routines. Starting pay ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 per year, with benefits including health insurance, 401k, PTO, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in development languages (Python, Java).
• 2+ years API development and integration (GraphQL, REST, SOAP, RabbitMQ).
• 1+ year Database/Cache (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, CosmosDB, Redis, Varnish).
• Prototype UI/UX designs and translate to implementation.
• DevOps: Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Azure.
• Leadership and influence over design/implementation of development projects.
• Exposed to Agile Scrum.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated with ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support go-live and training across the business.
• Websites: modify Magento 2 PHP and Angular 2 features.
• API Layer: modify NodeJS features for front-end and 3rd parties.
• ERP: configure NetSuite data.
• Integration Routines: modify NodeJS data movement between systems.
• Monitor and maintain clean operations of the environment.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer you will play a key role in growing the 2nd Swing Golf web presence across multiple channels and platforms. This position will collaborate with other developers, front-end designers, and project managers to create new and/or improved business solutions. You will learn our coding standards and work with us to enhance our websites, ERP system, and integration routines. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Eden Prairie, MN. This role does not offer remote or hybrid work.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop and facility all go live support and training across the business
• Websites: Add/modify features on existing Magento 2 PHP code and/or Angular 2 code.
• API Layer: Add/modify features on existing NodeJS code which provides data to our front-end
  applications and 3rd parties.
• ERP System: Configure, modify data in the ERP system (NetSuite)
• Integration Routines: Modify existing NodeJS code to move data from one system to another.
• Help the team monitor and maintain clean operations of our environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Development languages (Python, Java, )
• 2+ years of API development and integration (GraphQL, REST and SOAP web services, RabbitMQ)
• 1+ year of Database and Cache (MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, CosmoDB, Redis, Varnish)
• Prototype UI/UX designs and translate to implementation.
• Testing and deploying applications through DevOp frameworks (Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Azure)
• Provide leadership and have influence over the design, implementation, and support of development projects.
• Exposed to Agile Scrum.
• Very strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Self-motivated work style with the ability to research solutions and learn new systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud is a plus (though, we will train you if need be)
• Experience with specific frameworks and technologies is a plus: Angular 2, NodeJS Express, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, REST web services, SOAP web services.

Starting pay range is $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
