Job summary

Technica Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to drive rapid AI-assisted development in enterprise environments. You will write and refactor Java Spring Boot back-end and Angular front-end code, using AI tools for boilerplate and tests, while ensuring security and AWS/PostgreSQL standards.

This on-site role is located at a government facility in Chantilly, VA with flexible hybrid options subject to customer approval.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret with SCI and CI Poly eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/Springboot, Angular (v17+), PostgreSQL, and AWS environments.
• 3+ Years Experience In JAVA/Springboot
• 3+ Years Experience in Angular
• 3+ Years Experience in PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated experience working in AI-assisted development workflows.
• Excellent debugging and architectural design skills to steer AI agents effectively.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Technica Corporation is seeking highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to drive rapid development in an AI-assisted environment. Candidates must be adept at leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude, Amazon Q Developer) to accelerate delivery, while applying strict human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain complex enterprise code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular front-end code.
• Use AI tools to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and perform application modernization tasks.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs strictly adhere to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database standards.
• Manually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.

The position would be located at a government facility in Chantilly, VA and require work to be performed onsite. Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval. The government has established policies for on-site vs hybrid work which varies across divisions and contracts. Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 – $140,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Technica considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, location, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
