Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and offers limited telework up to 16 hours per week after onboarding.

You will develop full stack features for the AUTUMNATTIC tool using Java, Angular, and Elasticsearch, perform code reviews, and help diagnose user issues. Strong experience with Java, Angular, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes is expected.

Qualifications

• 14 years of experience as a software engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 4 additional years of software engineering experience in lieu of degree)
• Experience with full stack development and modern tooling

Responsibilities

• Provide full stack development for the AUTUMNATTIC tool (Java, Angular, Elasticsearch)
• Develop front end and back-end capabilities per requirements
• Perform code reviews for capabilities developed by teammates
• Assist with diagnosing user problems in AUTUMNATTIC

Full Stack Software Engineer (Annapolis Junction, MD)

Telework: Up to 16 hours per week may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training.

Job Description:

• Provide full stack developmental support for the AUTUMNATTIC tool that is built using the following technologies: java, angular, elasticsearch
• Develop front end and back-end capabilities based on provided requirements
• Perform code reviews for capabilities developed by other team members
• Assist with diagnosing problems users are facing with AUTUMNATTIC

Required Experience:

• Development experience with java and angular framework
• Build experience with gitlab and docker
• Build experience with kubernetes or marathon

Desired Experience:

• Experience with language analyzers in elasticsearch
• Experience with computer assisted translation tools such as LILT
