Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a team building and maintaining multiple solutions with real-time data and a visualization front-end.

You will work with backend services and a front-end focused on information sharing, contributing to the full software lifecycle and collaborating with a skilled development team. Required are 5 years of programming experience, strong OO design with C++/Java, and proficiency in JavaScript and modern web frameworks.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (4 additional years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.)
• 5 years demonstrated experience with programming, design, and development.
• Demonstrated experience with Object-Oriented Design and Programming using C++, Java, or similar language
• Experience with JavaScript and modern web-frameworks
• Agile Development experience
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle
• Must be willing to work on-site in the Colorado Springs office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the design, maintenance, enhancement, and coding of web pages and backend requirements using modern frameworks
• Recommending and implementing process and tool improvements based on user feedback and analysis
• Assisting in ingest of geospatial data including imagery, maps, charts, GIS feature data, and integrated GIS data to front- and back-end
